Tue, 20 November 2007 The Elevator Radio Show: ERS-2007-11-20 As we head into an extended Thanksgiving Weekend this show by far has the most number of elevator related accidents that I've ever talked about. The accident in China where a lift plunged 34 floors killing 11 has to be one of the worst in the past two years while doing the show. As the news stories point out we have so much to be thankful for. For those of you out in the field please practice safety every day of the year and for the rest of us let's all take a moment to be thankful for what we have. As Elevator Escalator Safety Week approaches think of ways that you can promote it in your neck of the woods. It could be as easy as including a brochure with your invoices, offering to train your customers on proper elevator and escalator usage, or you could make a donation to the EESF. Start thinking now about how you can make a difference. Wed, 22 August 2007 The Elevator Radio Show: ERS-2007-08-22 It's great to be back everyone! This show is very short due to an electrical storm that knocked out our DSL line just before the show was about to record. Thank goodness I clicked the save button before the storm came. On today's show there are 3-4 worth printing out. I wish I could have shared the e-mail comments and ebay stuff this week but it will have to wait until next week when we get back on line. Sorry for the technical difficulties. It's amazing how much this show needs the Internet. This is the second time in close to 2 years that our DSL has gone down on a Wednesday.
