I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was an enjoyable one! My family and I enjoyed our trip to Fort Meyers, Florida and more importantly are thankful for everything we have, health, family and friends. Things can change so quickly that you really need to live each day as it's your last. Some sad news here in Chicago as our industry losses a great man, Rory Dolan passed away this past Saturday. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Rory was the kind of guy who really cared about the elevator industry and you could tell. He will be missed by many. Please consider signing his guest book through this link. I’m certain the Dolan Family would appreciate it.
It's Elevator Escalator Safety Week and not a moment too soon! This past week we cover multiple escalator related accidents. Did you know that it's always the week before Thanksgiving so that the word can get out to all the people traveling to the malls? Have you thought about how to contribute? It's as easy as going to our online store and purchasing something. Great show everyone. A couple of stories that you'll be the first to know about plus there are a couple of cool items for sale over on www.elevatorgear.com and www.ebay.com.
Wow,
I can't believe it's already November. Next week is Elevator Escalator Safety
Week! If you're like me and love elevators and escalators make sure you're doing
your part to ensure that kids and older adults are educated in riding them.
There are many ways you can help, visit www.eesf.org today to learn about them. I
want to thank all of you who have purchased items from our online store. Your
support helped us raise $500.00 which was sent to the Elevator Escalator Safety
Foundation last week! We've got a great show for you today with some pretty
important stories that you'll be the first to learn about, some of which just
posted moments ago. Also remember that this Sunday is Veterans Day. If you know
a Veteran please thank them for serving our country.
