I'm feeling a bit under the weather today as we in the Midwest continue to freeze with wind chills of seven below this morning. There are 2-3 stories worthy of printing out today depending on your elevator status; contractor, mechanic, consultant etc. This week the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation is holding its annual meeting which this year is in AtlantaGA. We hope that they have a productive week of meetings! If you'd like to show your support, please consider making an online donation at http://www.eesf.org/. Next week is our prize pack giveaway so make sure you get over to the newsletter link and add your e-mail address to the list! Thanks for joining us to day everyone!
Snow is once again falling here in Chicago and the kids and I are making the most of it by building forts, having snowball fights and sledding. I don't remember getting as many snow storms as we have since I was a kid. But I guess everything back then was larger than life. We do have some important news stories to talk about on the show including two important lawsuits and one elevator accident that ended up in a fatality. Plus the Crocs Corporation is back in the lime light! Plus there are a couple of good stories that feature elevator companies. And one aweful one down in Atlanta that will make you sick to watch it! So many stories this week, so little time!
Great show today everyone as I found over thirty elevator related news stories online and had to cut some of them out. We've got two major announcements on the show today. One will talk about a caption contest we're sponsoring and the other has to do with a new web site that we've launched. Both of which you should enjoy. Hopefully snow isn't falling where you're at as here in Chicago we're heading into our third or fourth winter storm warning. Be safe out there!
